Corsair Vengeance 8 GB ( 2 x 4 GB ) DDR3 1600 MHz (PC3 12800) 240-Pin DDR3 Memory Kit for Core i3, i5, i7

Don't get me wrong, this Corsair Vengeance 8 GB is an AMAZING product. And if you can get it on sale then it's even better. But it's pretty expensive, and for MOST people, you won't even need 8GB. You should only get more than 4GB on a single computer if you're trying for a gaming oriented set up.

To add to that, if you have a 32-bit operating system, you can't even use this product to its maximum potential. 32-bit operating systems can only properly use a little less than 4GB. Vengeance memory is designed specifically for the latest CPUs.

Vengeance modules run at 1.5V for maximum compatibility with all Intel® Core™ i3, i5 and i7 processors, as well as the 2nd generation Intel processor family.

CORSAIR high performance Vengeance memory module 8GB (2x4GB) 1600MHz 8-8-8-24, 1.5V for motherboards using AMD, Intel dual channel processors and upcoming 2nd Generation Intel Core platforms. Vengeance memory modules provide users with outstanding memory performance and stability.

In other words, ONLY get this Corsair Vengeance 8 GB if:
  • You can TRULY afford it.
  • You know for a fact that you'll need the 8GB. RAM might be the easiest thing to install in a new computer, but it still requires research.
  • You have 64-bit Or you're willing to spend a lot more time/money to upgrade from 32-bit. Upgrading OS's save your files ONLY if you're going from the same bits.
This ram is awesome you cant go wrong with corsairs vengeance. CORSAIR high performance Vengeance memory module 8GB (2x4GB) 1600MHz 8-8-8-24, 1.5V for motherboards using AMD, Intel dual channel processors and upcoming 2nd Generation Intel Core platforms.
